Wear a uniform to work?
If like me you wear a company uniform, even if it’s just a hi-vis or shirt with a logo, that you must wash at home, then you can claim back some taxes to help cover the costs.
Did you work from home in 2020/2021?
If you had to work from home in 2020/2021 when other people were furloughed then you are entitled to a payout. The rules for these years say even if you just did one day, you can claim for the full year.

Get a rebate if you work from home
If you still work from home, you can still claim money for heating your house, electricity to power your laptop/computer, if needed for work. You can even get help to pay your martgage/rent if you pay these and use your home instead of an office.
You can claim for up to 4 years back tax
Some people are owed over £1000 in back taxes.
Any uniform you wash at home/days worked from home count
If you just work one day from home in 2020/2021 it’s enough to claim for the full year.
